Beginning Thursday 13 August 2009, Singapore Airlines have discounted fares available. The current price of a flight from Sydney to Cairo and return from Dubai is around $1800 including taxes. The Archaeological Diggings tour of Egypt departs Australia 1 October 2009 and will be followed by an optional 7 day tour of Jordan. Flying Singapore Airlines and staying in 5 star hotels such as the Sofitel el Gezirah in Cairo, Sonesta St George in Luxor, Basma Hotel in Aswan, Le Meridian in Amman, Marriott at the Dead Sea, Crowne Plaza in Petra, this is going to be a fantastic tour. Escorted by Archaeological Diggings managing editor Michael Browning and our local networks in Egypt and Jordan, the hard work will be done for you so you can sit back and enjoy the wonders of these ancient countries.

Your tour price includes return international airfares from Australia flying Singapore Airlines, domestic flights in Egypt flying Egypt Air, and your Emirates Airlines flight from Amman to Dubai at the completion of the Jordan itinerary. Also included is your accommodation (twin share), breakfast and dinner at the hotel each day, all transportation as per the itinerary including transfers, visa's as required, all site entries, tips and portage.
